中国植物图像库（PPBC）2008 年由中国科学院植物研究所在国家植物标本馆建立，由植物分类学专家与植物爱好者共同参与建设，是我国权威的植物专题图库，国内物种主要参考《中国植物物种名录》的分类体系，也集成了全球植物名录和常见的栽培品种名录。截至，注册用户72,000人，汇聚图像 幅，涵盖 科 属 种（含品种）。已收录《中国植物物种名录》中99.4%的科，95.4%的属，77.4%的物种。
The Plant Photo Bank of China (PPBC), initiated and operated by the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IBCAS) in 2008 and based on the National Plant Specimen Resource Center, is the most comprehensive and authoritative plant-specific image bank in China. It has been supported by plant taxonomists across the country, ensuring reliable species identifications. The classification system adopted by PPBC includes the PPG I for lycophytes and ferns, APG IV for angiosperms at the family level, and the Checklist of plant species in China for genus and species levels. The PPBC boasts approximately 72,000 registered users, comprising taxonomists, botany students, and enthusiasts. To date, it has collected a total of plant images through user contributions. Of these, images have been identified to the species level, covering species (including infraspecies ) across genera and families. Notably, 77.4% of the species, 95.4% of the genera, and 99.4% of the families of Chinese native plants, as recorded by the Checklist of plant species in China, are represented in the PPBC, along with some foreign species.
